2- من الأخطاء المتأتّية عن هذا النهج ترجمة النص وكأنّه مؤلَّف من جمل مفكّكة أو من غير مراعاة الصلات القائمة ضمن شبكاته المعجمية.

- Procédé d’analyse textuelle qui fournit un cadre d’interprétation global de tous les éléments linguistiques, stylistiques, terminologiques et culturels d’un texte de départ en vue de leur reformulation dans une autre langue, tout en tenant compte de la fonction du texte à traduire.

نهج تحليلي يزوّد المترجم بإطار عام لتأويل كل العناصر اللغوية، والأسلوبية، والمصطلحية، والثقافية في النص المصدر بهدف إعادة التعبير عنها في لغة أخرى تعبيرًا يأخذ في الاعتبار وظيفة النص المترجَم.
- الملاحظة
1- هذا النهج وقف على بنية معلومات النص وخلفيته الثقافية وأساليب الكتابة، وهو نقيض مقاربة التحليل الجزئي التي تركّز على الناحية اللغوية.
2- في مقاربة التحليل الشامل، يستمدّ كل عنصر من عناصر النص معناه من وحدة النص الإجمالية.
