  • قد يستخدم المترجم مقابل اسم الكل في اللغة المصدر اسم الجزء في اللغة الهدف فعندما يُقال في اللغة الفرنسية (oncle) أو في اللغة الإنكليزية (uncle)، على المترجم أن يحدّد في العربية “العم” أو “الخال”.

  • يغطّي اسم الكلّ “الأثاث” أسماء الجزء “كرسي”، “طاولة”، “خزانة”، إلخ.
