  • Procédé de traduction qui consiste à établir une équivalence par un changement de catégorie grammaticale.

  • Note

  • Ce procédé peut aussi bien s’appliquer à l’intérieur d’une langue qu’au cas particulier de la traduction. «Il a annoncé qu’il reviendrait» devient par transposition du verbe subordonné en substantif : «Il a annoncé son retour».

  • Definition

  • A translation procedure where equivalence in meaning or sense is established by changing the word class or part of speech of a word or phrase.

  • Observation

  • Beside being a special translation procedure, transposition can also be applied within a language. For example: “Il a annoncé qu’il reviendrait”, can be re-expressed by transposing a subordinate verb with a noun, thus: “Il a annoncé son retour”.

  • نهج في الترجمة يقضي باستبدال جزء من الخطاب بجزء آخر من دون المساس بمعنى المرسلة، كأن نستبدل فئة نحوية بفئة نحوية أخرى، أو أن نترجم الصفة بالفعل أو الفعل بالمصدر، والعكس صحيح.

  • قد نجد هذا النهج ضمن اللغة الواحدة كأن نستعمل المصدر أو الفعل المضارع الملحق بـ « أن » مثل قولنا: ينبغي لك القيام بذلك/ينبغي أن تقوم بذلك.
